Liz Lanteri is a comedy writer, director, and producer living in New York City.
During college, she interned for the Ellen DeGeneres Show and was offered a position that began after graduation. From there she was hired to write and produce scripts for Funny or Die, NBC, People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly & Cosmopolitan.
In 2011 Liz produced her first web exclusive starring Billy Crystal and Helen Mirren and earned a Webby nomination for Best Comedy Short. In 2014 Lanteri won Hearst Corporation’s video of the year for her directorial debut, a music video titled ‘Cat’s and Abs’.
In addition to her professional career, she has proved successful building an audience through social media. One of her creations, Tom Haverfoods, was praised in Time Magazine as "Internet Genius." Buzzfeed named Lanteri one of the Top Ten contributors for the site after thirty of her articles landed on the site's front page and averaged 100k per post.
For 6 seasons Lanteri produced the Emmy-nominated television series, Billy On The Street starring comedian Billy Eichner. Most recently, Liz announced her acceptance into the P.G.A. and is currently writing for Pitch Comedy and Vox Media.
